Although there are still two racing weekends to go in 2022, FÜSPORT – RT Motorsports by SKM – Kawasaki is proud to announce that Troy Alberto will continue to ride for the German-Dutch Kawasaki team next year in the WorldSSP300.
Troy impressed during the first six race weekends of this year and is making progress every race. The Philippine racer is currently 24th in the WorldSSP300 standings, thanks to consecutive points finishes at Misano, Most and Magny-Cours.
Earlier this year, Troy made IDM history by becoming the first ever Filipin to score a podium in the German Supersport 300 Championship.
Team manager Rob Vennegoor:
‘Working with Troy is very pleasant as he is very eager to learn. He has made a lot of progress every weekend so far, which is also reflected in the results of the last races in particular. It was an easy choice to continue together, also for Troy. The focus is now first on the last races of the season at Barcelona and Portimao. Then we will make a plan for 2023 in order to get the most out of our collaboration.’
