Building on a successful first half of the year, Access Plus Racing heads to the Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) this weekend for Round 5 of the 2025 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK). The team is focused on making every result count as Timothy Joseph “TJ” Alberto and his younger brother Troy Alberto aim to take control of the top two spots in the championship standings with just three rounds remaining.

With seven wins from eight races so far, TJ Alberto holds a commanding 43-point lead in the Pro Class standings. His only defeat came in Round 3 when title rival Marvin Mangulabnan snatched victory at the final corner of the final lap also at BRC. Determined not to let history repeat itself, TJ returns with renewed focus and a clear goal: to sweep both races and take another step toward the championship.

Meanwhile, younger brother Troy Alberto is looking to maintain his momentum after helping deliver another 1-2 finish for Access Plus Racing in Round 4. Currently sitting 3rd in the standings, Troy has intensified both his training and testing programs over the break with the aim of chasing down the runner up spot in the championship.

The team took advantage of the mid-season break to complete testing and fine-tune the Ducati Panigale V4. Their efforts are expected to help drive results on a circuit where outright pace has sometimes been a challenge for the squad.

A solid performance this weekend could all but seal the title for TJ and give Access Plus Racing a critical advantage heading into the final two rounds at Clark.

Qualifying takes place on Saturday (September 6), followed by Race 1 and Race 2 on Sunday (September 7).

Troy Alberto, #69:

“I’ve put in a lot of work over the past month to prepared for this round—more than I ever have before. From riding to fitness, I’ve pushed myself in every area to close the gap to the front. I’m giving it everything I’ve got and hoping that the effort will pay off on race day.”
